Why online bulb charts sometimes disagree
The 2017 Escape could be equipped with more than one headlamp design. A catalog that lists only H11 or only 9005 for every vehicle can miss that difference. Before ordering, compare the existing lamp assembly and bulb with the Ford chart or use a VIN-based parts lookup.
What about LED tail and brake lamps?
Ford's chart identifies the tail/brake lamp and high-mounted brake lamp as LED on applicable equipment rather than listing a simple replaceable bulb trade number. The manual directs owners to an authorized dealer for lamps marked that way.
Halogen versus HID matters
A Titanium can have different lighting equipment from an S or SE, and options can vary. If the vehicle has HID lighting, do not assume a halogen replacement number applies just because another 2017 Escape uses it.
